Books at the Tate

How to find Books

Books at the Tate are organized by the Dewey Decimal Classification System. Each book is given a specific call number based on it's subject area. The Call No. (ex. 973.917 GRE) is on the spine of the book and is organized on the shelf in numerical/alphabetical order. All shelves have signage indicating where books are located. Books can be found either by browsing the shelves or using the Library Catalog. The Library Catalog or "Book Finder" can be found HERE and on the Tate Library Homepage.
